Honor WaterPlay launches with a powerful battery of 6660mAh
Beijing: Huawei, a Chinese company that produces smartphones and tablets, has launched a new tablet under its brand Honor. Launched in the name of Honor WaterPlay, this tablet has just been launched in China. The special thing is that the Honor Waterplay is IP67-certified, which means that this tablet will not cause any damage to water and dust. Even if this tablet stays in about 1 meter deep water for almost half an hour, its hair will not be too dainty. The battery of this tablet is 6660mAh, which is a very attractive feature.
This tablet includes 3 variants - Wi-Fi only variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage, Wi-Fi only variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and LTE variants with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The cost of all three variants is 1,999 Chinese yuan (about Rs 20,000), 2,399 Chinese yuan (around Rs 24,000) and 2,699 Chinese yuan (around Rs 26,500). Honor WaterPlay will start selling in China from October 24, but there is currently no information about its availability outside of China.
Honor WaterPlay has a 10.1 inch full HD display. Running an EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nouga, this tablet runs an Octa-core Hyacilikon Kirin 659 processor. Its storage can be increased to 256GB via microSD card in all three variants. Honor WaterPlay supporting Fast Charging comes with Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C. The tablet's rear camera is of 8 MP while the front has a 0.3 megapixel camera. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the front of the Honor Waterplay. The dimension of this tablet weighing 465 grams is 248x173x7.8mm. This tablet will be available in silver and champagne gold color options.
