Jio users make bad news on Diwali, expensive plans

New Delhi: For consumers of Geo customers availing 4G mobile telecommunication services at affordable rates, Deepawali will now have to pay 15 percent more for the popular plan of Geo's 84 days validity of 459 rupees. According to the information published on the company's website, tariff of this plan, which facilitates one GB high-speed 4G data per day, has been increased. However, consumers of Plan 149 will get four GB data in place of existing two GB in each bill cycle. The company has reduced tariff in addition to data benefit on small plans.
Geo has also introduced a validity of Rs. 52 and a two-week validity plan of Rs. 98. Under this, unlimited call-message-data will be provided to the consumers. There will be a limit of high speed data of 0.15 GB per day. Unlimited calling will continue on all the planes of Geo.
The company also reduced the facilities in the plan of Rs 509. Under this, consumers get two GB high speed data per day. The company has reduced its validity from 56 days to 49 days. Similarly, in the plan of Rs 999, 60 GB data will be replaced instead of 90 GB data. Its validity will remain for 60 days.
He has also introduced a plan of Rs. Under this 125 GB high-speed data will be available with validity of six months. The validity of the plan for Rs 4999 has been increased from existing 210 days to one year but it has reduced the data from 380 GB to 350 GB.
Earlier, the total number of subscribers of Reliance Jio, led by Mukesh Ambani-led subscriber, increased to 13.86 crore in the quarter ended September 30. The company received approximately 1.5 million new customers in the quarter. It said in the statement of the company that in the last three months of September 2017, it has a net loss of 270.5 million rupees. In the June quarter this loss was Rs. 21.3 crores. During this period, the company's single operating income is about Rs 6,147 crore
It said in the statement of the company that on a pure basis in the quarter, it received 1.53 crore new customers and the number of its subscribers increased to 13.86 crore. It is notable that the company's quarterly results have come at such times, there is a lot of talk about financial difficulties in the telecom sector and it is on the path of integration with merger and acquisition deals.
