Panama papers case: Bachchan can summon family
ED officials told that they had issued notice to Bachchan family some time ago and since 2004, the RBI had asked to give information about the money sent abroad under the LRS scheme.
New Delhi:In connection with the investigation of the Panama Papers case, the ED has received replies from actor Amitabh Bachchan and his family members and they can be summoned soon. ED officials told that they had issued notice to the Bachchan family sometime ago and asked them to provide information about the money sent abroad under the LRS scheme of RBI since 2004. They said that the notice issued under 'FEMA' Answers have been received by ED. Sources said, "The answers have been found. They can be summoned soon after the investigation. "Amitabh Bachchan's name came in the Panama Papers case and the Income Tax Department is also investigating the matter.
Let us know that the names of many big film stars, politicians and businessmen were revealed in the alleged Panama-papers. In this case Amitabh Bachchan refused to do any wrongdoing when he got the name. Amitabh had said that he sent money abroad only under the Indian rules.
He also denied having any connection with the companies that came in front of Panama Papers. In this case, it has been said that some of the accounts revealed are genuine and they have also come in front of giving the details. The process of collecting information is quite long.
